| Chelle Herron - Business Manager and Therapist |
|
Hello, I head up
the Essence of Life team and I am a Complementary Medicine Practitioner specialising in stress, depression and back problems.
I have a commercial background in sales and marketing and used complementary medicine as a stress reliever.
A keen interest to learn more led me to gaining a Holistic Therapies Diploma in 2000 and I began to provide private
consultations alongside my day job.
In 2005, I was approached by a number
of companies to deliver corporate health days as freelancer and I undertook a BSc in Complementary Medicine and
Health Sciences.
I headed up this team in 2009 and was delighted to win a New Business Award earlier
this year. The next steps have been to set up a foundation as a facilitator to improve the health and wellbeing of hard to
reach individuals. I am also undertaking pilot research on a number of corporate health issues.

Hi I'm Ann Girling. I worked in the NHS as a health visitor for many years before
leaving to set up my own personal development business.
I trained as a coach gaining certification and accreditation
in 2007 and now combine both skill sets in my work. I am also a True Colors facilitator; True Colors is tool whose main
aim is personal discovery and appreciation of others and one of the aims is to link it to wellbeing at work.
I
use coaching in the workplace to help individuals manage their stress and to look at work life balance.

| Annette Pool - Yoga Practitioner |

I am passionate about yoga and its benefits to overall health and vitality. I previously
worked for more than 20 years in the food industry, latterly as Training Manager, responsible for coaching and facilitating
personal development and improvement. i've always maintained an active interest in sport and wellbeing, as an athlete
and coach.
Yoga is the harmonisation of body and mind. By practising Asanas (poses) for strength and flexibility,
Pranayama (breathing skills) and Nidra (deep relaxation and visualisation) to calm the mind, build focus and concentration,
we relax, refresh and rejuvenate oour bodies and minds, releasing the tensions and stresses of modern day life.

Hello I'm Carla Love
and I am a Holistic Therapist. After 8 years of teaching I knew it was not the career for me, so I followed my heart and re-trained
as a therapist.
At present, I practice Aromatherapy, Swedish and Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage, Tibetan
Acupressure Massage, Reflexology, Reiki and Russian Honey Cupping Massage.
I love being a Holistic Therapist and
I wouldn't change back for the world, as I am now able to spend more time with my 3 soppy greyhounds and ursue my other
interests, suba diving and yoga.

I'm Eileen, after
working for many years in unfulfilling jobs I decided to return to college to learn something new. I originally trained as
a beauty therapist, then went on to train in complementary therapies. I qualified in aromatherapy, swedish and hot stone massage
and reflexology.
Since that time I have taken various short courses and have worked with the elderly and
in local hospices. This had led me to Reiki, which has opened up a fulfilling and rewarding path, were I am learning all the
time.
Beauty therapy is a significant part of my career but complementary therapies is were my passion really lies.

Hi I am Jeff Weigh, a coach who helps people change the way they think. When people
change the way they think they change the result. My areas of expertise lie in helping businesses to develop and indivduals
to grow. I also write a regular blog for Rise and Shine which is featured on The Training Zone.
A husband and Dad,
I am also a keen fundraiser and this year I completed my first marathon - The London Marthon in April.
|
I have always had an interest in holistic therapies and with the help of Crystal Therapy, Reiki and Reflexology,
I gave birth to a beautiful daughter Lily Bluebell in 2005. Rather than return to my role as a Personal
Assistant I chose to change career and studied Aromatherapy Massage, Indian Head Massage, Infant Massage, Colour and Crystal
Therapy plus Reiki to Master Level.
I have also spent time training as
a counsellor to continue to add to my qualifications to benefit my clients and their wellbeing. The most
rewarding aspect of my role is helping people help themselves and the community work that I do.

| Monika Dabrowska - Therapist |
|
My name is Monika Dabrowska and prior to moving to the UK I was a Physiotherapist
in Poland. I have always been attracted to Alternative Medicine and self-healing methods especially discovering the secrets
of the human mind, how the psychological can affect the physiological.
To this effect I have studied Aromatherapy,
Swedish Massage and Reflexology as the initial steps to bridge up my qualifications to become a holistic physiotherapist.
My life affirmation is 'I am blessed today and each day with success and prosperity'.

Hi, I am Sonia and I developed a keen interest in complementary therapies in 2002 whilst working
as an administration clerk and instantly became hooked on a Reflexology book that a colleague brought into the office.
I have since become qualified in Advance Reflexology, Swedish Body Massage, Indian Head Message, Hot Stone Therapy, Hopi Ear
Candles & Reiki.
Whilst practising, I attend various courses to keep my skills and knowledge updated, increasing
the benefits of the therapies to the client. I also enjoy the palliative care I provide on a voluntary basis at the
hospice.
The learning is an endless journey which is fulfilling and rewarding.
